The credibility of the Religious Right took a HUGE HIT this past election with their backing of Sarah Palin, whose teenage daughter was pregnant and not married. While it is sometimes unfair to hold parents responsible for the actions of their children, the Religious Right's refusal to apply the same standards to "one of their own" that they apply to everyone else, showed them to be HYPOCRITES. On a side note, if one of President Obama's daughters were in that same position, we would have NEVER heard the end of it. Despite the wealth and education of both President Obama and his wife Michelle, their child would have been portrayed as the next "welfare queen" and a poor example for teens to follow. Again, the double standard and "cone of silence" in regards to the Religious Right's stance on marriage, pre-marital sex, and Sarah and Bristol Palin was self evident.

The Religious Right and their Devil Thinking mouth pieces like Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, and Elizabeth Hasslebeck, had to suffer a defeat much like the Gay and Lesbian Community did with the past elections. All three of these CLOWNS shot their mouths off in regards to Same Sex Marriages but got LOCK JAW when it came to Bristol Palin. President Obama's overwhelming win was a kick in the teeth to the Religious Right and their defeat in both legislative houses was an indictment to their way of doing business. It is just a matter of time before the legal system does the RIGHT THING and outlaws discrimination against the Gay and Lesbian community. Most of them are sexually repressed Closet Cases with too much time on their hands and nothing better to do!

The religious TYRANNY of the Religious Right that is trying to take hold in America must end. There is a reason there is a Separation of Church and State! Because as a country, we don't want a closed minded majority making life affecting rules and laws for the minority!
