NEW PRO SAME SEX MARRIAGE WEB SITE RESPONDS TO RELIGIOUS RIGHT


SAN DIEGO, CA FEBRUARY 28, 2009: The passage of Proposition 8 has galvanized both sides8 of the issue. The Religious Right is slapping each other on the back for a job well done and the Gay and Lesbian Community is strategizing ways to have the law repealed. Every day Gays and Lesbians are using their dollars and their creative skills to keep the issue alive. A new web site, Devilthinking.com, has been created to show that the arguments used by the Mormon, Catholic, the Black and the Latino Churches, to justify opposing Same Sex marriages, were also used against African Americans and Latinos in the 40’s,50’s, and 60’s, to object to interracial dating and marriage. Devilthinking.com also debunks the “big 6”, which are the 6 verses in the bible that mention Same Sex Relationships and how they altered, twisted, and are taken out of context, to justify bigotry. Devilthinking.com is aimed at those people who upon hearing from friends and family members of Gays and Lesbians are having an about face about having voted for Prop 8.
